Eligibility: This Suite Night, Sweet Flights Giveaway is open only to Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania residents who are at least eighteen (18) years old and have a valid government-issued ID. Employees of Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of those employees, are not eligible to win.
Sponsor: The Giveaway is sponsored by Akron-Canton Airport, 5400 Lauby Rd. NW, North Canton Ohio 44720.
Agreement to Official Rules: By entering, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to (a) these Official Rules and (b) Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
Entry Period: The Giveaway begins on July 19, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 PM EST on August 14, 2024 (the "Giveaway Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible. There will only be one entry counted, so please, only one entry per person. The sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Giveaway.
How to Enter: To enter, complete the Giveaway entry form. A responsive email acknowledging your entry will NOT be sent.
Drawing: One winner will be randomly selected on August 15, 2024. Sponsor will select one (1) winner to receive the suite. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received for the applicable Giveaway Period.
Notification and Requirements of Potential Winners: Sponsor will notify the potential winner with an email to the email address associated with their entry. Except where prohibited by law, a potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. If a potential winner fails to respond by August 19, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST, alternate potential winners will be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all remaining entries received. Only two (2) alternate potential winners will be contacted.
Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): One winner will receive a suite from Akron-Canton Airport (accommodates 20 people) for the RubberDucks game on August 24, 2024. Food and beverages are not included.
General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike, fraudulent or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor by mail or email shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor. The Giveaway is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. All characteristics and features of the prize except as otherwise explicitly stated above are at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as provided herein. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute such prize (or portion thereof) with a prize of equal or greater value. Stated ARV is as of date of printing of these Official Rules. Actual value may vary. In the event actual value is less than the stated value, the difference will not be awarded. All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. For tax reporting purposes, prize winner may be issued and required to complete one or more U.S. IRS forms for the fair market value of the prize, and the winner may be required to provide Sponsor with a valid social security number, tax identification number or other information before the prize will be awarded. You will never be asked to provide a credit card number to be verified as a winner or to receive a prize. Arrangements for delivery of prize will be made after winner validation. LIMIT ONE (1) PRIZE PER EMAIL ADDRESS. At the Sponsor’s discretion, unclaimed Prize may not be awarded.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Akron-Canton Airport, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone, or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail or email; (e) errors in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize. You further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Email addresses will be collected for future communication by Akron-Canton Airport. Akron-Canton Airport respects and honor your privacy and will never sell email addresses collected through this Giveaway.
Privacy and Publicity: Any information you submit as part of the Giveaway will be used for purposes of this Giveaway and treated in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes an entrant's consent to Sponsor's use of his/her name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
Disputes: You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Ohio. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio.
