CAK Crew
CAK brings together local pets and volunteers to make navigating the airport much more enjoyable.
The CAK Crew is the Akron-Canton Airport's dedicated volunteer airport therapy dog program. These specially trained dogs and their handlers roam the terminal to provide calming cuddles, lower travel anxiety, and spread "pawsitive" vibes to departing and arriving passengers.
Sunflower Program
The Sunflower Program's purpose is to assist those traveling with hidden disabilities who may need a little extra patience, care, and explanation during their travel experience. Lanyards, bracelets, or pins worn discreetly identify individuals with a disability to the airport community.
Youth Programs
Travel should be fun for the whole family. Play areas and sensory rooms allow our younger travellers to enjoy the Akron-Canton Airport just as much as the adults.
Art in the Airport
Akron-Canton Airport welcomes visitors to experience diverse local rotating exhibits and innovative public art displays that communicate culture, environment, and community. The mission of our program is to enrich the CAK passenger experience through visually engaging works that reflect the greater Akron/Canton community.
