Green, OH - Akron-Canton Airport is pleased to announce the promotion of Lisa Davala from Marketing Coordinator to Director of Marketing. Davala will be responsible for leading all strategic brand, marketing, communications, air service development, and public interaction initiatives.
In addition to maintaining the airport’s exceptional reputation and brand, Davala will lead, foster, and grow a marketing team dedicated to CAK values, principles, and innovative practices that generate industry-leading marketing and communications programs.
“Lisa’s promotion to Director of Marketing is the direct result of her impressive growth and significant achievements at the Akron-Canton Airport,” said President and CEO Rick McQueen. “Her ability to quickly adapt to the dynamic industry environments of aviation and marketing, while keeping the CAK brand front and center sets us up for a strong future.”
Davala joined the CAK marketing team in 2014 as Marketing Coordinator. In a short time, she has significantly increased community engagement and awareness, strengthened existing relationships and cultivated new relationships with airlines, building upon the CAK brand and increasing service and market awareness to the community.
Prior to joining the airport, Davala developed a strong background in online marketing, public relations and management through agency work, both traditional and digital. Davala holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Kent State University.
