Lost and Found

How do I contact the airport Lost & Found?
If you lost an item at a Security Screening Checkpoint, call the Transportation Security Administration toll free at 1-866-289-9673, or click here to send a message. If an item was lost on a flight, please contact the airline directly. For items lost in other parts of the airport terminal, call airport information at 330-896-2385. If you are not sure where an item was lost, please contact both the TSA and airport information.

Any cash found, or turned over to the Airport Authority, will be documented with information from the person who found cash, including name, address, and contact information if available.

If you find cash, then please catalog and record the sum ASAP. Turn cash over to the Airport Authority for safe keeping for 90 days, or turn over to rightful owner as reported missing.

After 90 days the monies will be donated as recommended by the individual who found the funds to one of these charities: Akron-Canton Food Bank, United Way, Maps Air Museum, Arts in Stark, and American Heart Association.

Provided the individual does leave all contact information, the Airport Authority will, after 90 days, make the entire amount of funds available to the selected charity.

The Airport Authority then will provide proof of donation, and make it in the name of the finder of the funds, if their information is not available, the airport has the authority to release funds to the various charities.
