Two Daily Nonstop Flights Begin June 5
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 10, 2004) – AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings,
Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced the airline will commence new daily nonstop service from
Akron-Canton Airport to Boston's Logan International Airport. The airline will offer the only lowfare, nonstop flights to Boston when the service begins on June 5, 2004, on its new fleet of

"We realize travelers in Northeast Ohio are in need of low-fare flights to the East Coast,
so we're pleased to be able to offer this new nonstop service to Boston," said Judy Graham-
Weaver, AirTran Airways public relations manager. "We've seen significant demand for our
nonstop service from Akron-Canton to Atlanta, New York – LaGuardia, Orlando and Tampa,
and we expect the Boston route to be just as popular with both business and leisure travelers."
"This is a historic day for Akron-Canton Airport and for travelers throughout Northeast
Ohio who have been held captive by incredibly high fares to Boston, one of the country's most
popular destinations," said Akron-Canton Airport director Fred Krum. "AirTran Airways service to Boston is beyond compare. No other carrier in Northeast Ohio currently offers flights to Boston aboard brand new jets from a convenient airport with airfares that are up to 50 percent less than their competitors.
