Green, OH: United Airlines has inaugurated nonstop service from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD), United’s focus hub on the East Coast. The daily flight is a testament to United’s commitment to CAK, as the second United hub launched in two years.
“United’s new service will diversify schedules in the D.C. area, create access to the Southeastern United network, and connect our community to the globe through a world class airport,” said Akron-Canton Airport President and CEO, Ren Camacho. “This new route is a key asset to continued business synergies in the Akron-Canton region, as well as an excellent option for one-stops to favorite leisure destinations in Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico.”
The new route provides customers the option to connect to over 75 domestic and international destinations on the United network.

In addition to the new Washington-Dulles service, United also offers daily, nonstop flights from CAK to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Slated for a summer 2021 return, United plans to resume nonstop flights to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Flights can be booked on united.com, through a travel management company or through a favorite online booking website.
