With all of us thrown into the mad rush of the holidays, we often forget to say thank you to those who provide us with our success, in this case it's the wonderful customers of the Akron-Canton Airport. Your loyalty inspires us every day to continue to strive to provide you with the best travel experience of any airport in the country. We are dedicated to providing you low cost fares, a clean terminal, good food choices, and continued opportunities to new locations.

 As our way of saying thanks, December 8 was our Customer Appreciation Day at CAK. All of our terminal partners offered special thanks to our travelers. It was a fun day for all with some of our airlines offering some special surprises as well.

On another word to the wise, it was reported in USA Today's Aviation Section, that the US Department of Transportation released stats that the average domestic fare jumped 13% in the second quarter of 2010 versus the previous year.  There tends to be a upward rise in fares that most predict will continue. There are still great deals from CAK, you just need to lock them in sooner, it's the old adage" the early bird gets the worm!"
